Today’s Video of the Day is a performance of Nimrod Borenstein’s Cello Concerto No.1 by the Oulunsalo Ensemble and cellist Yotam Baruch. Borenstein himself conducted the orchestra as they performed the Finnish premiere of his work as a part of the Hailuoto Festival – an annual pro bono classical music event in Finland. The music festival is organised by Oulunsalo Ensemble, the festival residence orchestra, and led by its artistic directors Sinikka Ala-Leppilampi and Markojuhani Rautavaara.
