Today’s Video of the Day is a performance of the Sarabande from Bach’s Lute Suite in E Minor, BWV 996 by lutenist Jadran Duncomb. The recording can be found on Duncomb’s upcoming album J. S Bach Works for Lute Vol. 2 on Audax Records which is out digitally on 29 November and physically on 10 January. Duncomb offers a unique reading of Bach’s works through the prism of the lute and its unique ornaments and resonances. The video was filmed by Odd Geir Sæther at Lighthouse Productions.
