Barbara Hannigan performs Kurt Weill's 'Youkali' with the Ludwig Orchestra
Barbara Hannigan's new single, released today, is a recording of Kurt Weill's 'Youkali' with the Ludwig Orchestra (from the forthcoming album 'Dance with me'). The beautifully produced music video to accompany the release features Hannigan dancing to the music.

Barbara Hannigan won the Gramophone Contemporary Award in 2016 for her recording of Abrahamsen's Let me tell you with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Andris Nelsons (read the review), and has produced two albums so far with the Ludwig Orchestra: 'Crazy Girl Crazy' (music by Gershwin, Berg and Berio – read the review) and 'La Passione' (works by Grisey, Nono and Haydn – read the review).
