Today's video features pianist Junyan Chen playing an excerpt from Liszt's Piano Sonata in B minor, an exhilarating and technically thrilling performance. 

Junyan Chen will be performing this sonata alongside Gubaidulina's Piano Sonata at London's Wigmore Hall on Wednesday, May 17 at 1pm. Ticket information is available here: Wigmore Hall

Junyan Chen is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Her debut recording, 'It's Time', also featured Gubaidulina's sonata and was released by Linn Records in December 2022.
