The young brass quintet performs an arrangement of part 6 from the 18th-century Christmas work
Video of the Day is a wonderful brass arrangement of the last movement of the Christmas Oratorio by J.S. Bach.
Written in 6 parts, with each intended for performance on one of the major feast days of Christmas and the New Year, the Christmas Oratorio is part of 3 oratorio's written by Bach between 1734 and 1735 for major Christian feasts.
Connaught Brass are a young brass group who have seen great success in the past few years, with 2022 securing them first prize in the Royal Overseas League Mixed Ensemble Competition.
