On September 7, Marin Alsop will conduct the Last Night of the Proms, a significant milestone in any conductor's career. She will also conduct the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at the Proms this Saturday, August 17, and bring the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra on a European tour this autumn - this certainly is her year.
