The Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulović has signed a contract with Deutsche Grammophon, extending his relationship from the company's French arm to a global deal. The first release under the new agreement will be a recording to be produced by composer Yvan Cassar, best known for his collaborations with non-classical artists like Jean-Michel Jarre and Céline Dion.

Having been named 'International Revelation of the Year' in 2005 at France’s Victoires de la Musique, Radulović's career was launched when he stepped in for Maxim Vengerov at the Salle Pleyel and played the Beethoven Concerto with the Radio France PO and Myung-Whun Chung. Shortly after he made his Carnegie Hall debut and was widely fêted for his playing.

Born in Belgrade in 1985 Radulović studied there and then in Saarbrücken with Joshua Epstein. At 14 he moved to France and studied with Patrice Fontanarosa at the Paris Conservatoire. He also took part in masterclasses given by Yehudi Menuhin and Salvatore Accardo.

He has already released a disc for DG France, an album called 'Paganini Fantasy' which coupled the First Violin Concerto with a selection of the Caprices and other shorter works. Earlier recordings came out on the TransArt label.
