It is remarkable how much of its original fresh charm survives the rewriting to which the Sixth Chandos Anthem was subjected and the hangers-on at Cannons, Edgware, were lucky indeed to be able to enjoy such pleasing relaxed music in their services. The boys of King's College, Cambridge make predictably delightful sounds, and it was a pleasure to hear April Cantelo again after a gap of some years. In short, the standard of the singing and playing is good, and as so often these days one is surprised at how successfully the quality of the sound has been rejuvenated for modern ears.'
