These period-instrument performances augur well for a project to record the cycle of seven Partitas (Suites) which form Fux’s Concentus musico-instrumentalis. This is Vol. 1, containing a colourful Serenade for trumpets, oboes, strings and continuo, two further suites from the Concentus, and pieces loosely inspired by Vienna’s occupation by the Turks (1683).'
