Delightful music, delightfully played. The Sinfonia concertante is musically the more appealing of the two pieces, particularly the slow movement where Rimonda and Canziani form a fine partnership. The Fourth Violin Concerto is idiomatically written, and if one is reminded of Mozart, Viotti’s close contemporary, that is to the credit of the Italian composer.'
