Author:
Keith John also has a gift for making transcriptions and his version of Stravinsky's Circus polka brings the smell of sawdust into church. His own Rhythmic Energy, bowing though it does to Guillou, steers itself cunningly through a discernible pattern and ends with a well-timed flamboyant gesture. Liszt and Schumann speak clearly through his fingers, but the most impressive item is the Dupre Suite which best excercises his fantastic technique, through which the evanescent magic is released. The sound quality is superb.'
