The mezzo-soprano on recording music by Martinů, Dvořák, Hans Krása and Gideon Klein

Magdalena Kožená has just released an album of songs entitled 'Czech Songs' with the Czech Philharmonic and Sir Simon Rattle. Featuring lesser-known works by composers Martinů and Dvořák, as well as songs by Hans Krása and Gideon Klein – two composers murdered in Auschwitz - this beautiful programme is out now on the Pentatone label. Gramophone Editor Martin Cullingford caught up with Magdalena Kožená to talk about the album for this week's podcast.
