Benjamin Zander is a conductor known for his recordings of the music of, among others, the symphonies of Mahler, each release accompanied by a discussion disc - and more recently for a TED talk about the transformative power of music which has been viewed more than 10 millions times.

His latest recording is of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus and released on Brattle Media, and it’s one in which Zander has sought to perform the work exactly as he believes the composer original intended it.
