Today’s Video of the Day is a performance of ‘Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God’ from The Pembroke College Girls Choir led by their Director of Music Anna Lapwood.

The piece is the first track on Lapwood’s new EP for the holiday season, The Waiting Sky out now on Sony Classics.  The music was composed by Kerensa Briggs and sees the choir singing in 7 parts. Lapwood describes the process saying ‘we stand in a circle, I sing with them instead of conducting, and we make music together. Initially I was worried the younger choristers would struggle to keep up, but I’ve found time and time again they have simply risen to the challenge.’
