Today’s Video of the Day is a performance of Michael Head’s ‘A Little Road to Bethlehem’ by the Choristers of Jesus College Choir. Accompanied by Benjamin Sheen, Director of Music, the performance was recorded at Jesus College Chapel, Cambridge in July 2024. The words for the Christmas carol were written by Margaret Rose in around 1946 and were inspired by the sight of lambs in an Essex field.

The choir is one of only three college choirs of its kind in Cambridge. Alongside touring internationally, the choristers have sung with orchestras including Academy of St Martin in the Fields and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
