Today’s Video of the Day is a performance of the second movement from Beethoven’s String Quartet No.1 by the Ariel Quartet. This recording is a part of the Quartets larger project, releasing recordings of the complete Beethoven Quartets over the next 3 years, culminating in a box set in March 2027, the 200^th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, on Orchid Classics. The Ariel Quartet formed when they were only 13 years old and the very first piece, they read was Beethoven's Op. 18 No. 4. This performance video is the second single released as a part of the project and the first instalment comes out on April 4, 2025.
