The Benedetti Foundation has launched a new Youth Ambassador programme for singers and instrumentalists aged 15-18. With the aim of providing insight into what a career in music really looks like, the programme will run every autumn and spring, with the first course taking place on 9 September. Participants will be offered mentoring sessions, performance skills classes and lessons on how to take care of mental and physical health as a musician, as well as opportunities to meet other young musicians and explore the various roles available in the working world of music.

The Benedetti Foundation was founded in 2019 by violinist Nicola Benedetti CBE and aims to deliver ‘transformative experiences through mass music events and provide equal access to music participation and appreciation for all’. Led by Benedetti and a team of educators made up of industry leading performers and teachers, the foundation’s goal is to educate the musical youth of today through in-person and virtual programmes.
