Bernard Coutaz

An encounter with the British countertenor Alfred Deller led to Coutaz establishing Harmonia Mundi. Soon, with the help of his wife Eva, he attracted some of the leading early musicians to the label, including William Christie, René Jacobs, Konrad Junghänel and Philippe Herreweghe.
