Stile Antico perform sensuous Renaissance settings of the Song of Songs
Wigmore Hall's excellent live-streamed concert series has featured Quatuor Ébène, Vox Luminis, Jonathan Plowright and La Nuova Musica in recent months, but the latest concert features Stile Antico and a programme entitled 'Arise, My Love: sensuous Renaissance settings of the Song of Songs'.
Stile Antico have a rich history with this music, and their album 'Song of Songs' won Gramophone's 2009 Early Music Award.
