The dramatic performance is taken from their new Delphian album, out today

Benjamin Baker and Daniel Lebhardt's Delphian debut is a programme of three violin sonatas by Prokofiev, Copland and Poulenc, who all began writing them in 1942 - the date becoming the title of the album.

Today's video sees them performing the dramatic third movement of Poulenc’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, filmed at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall. There's a particular poignancy to the performance - the piece was written for Ginette Neveu, who was killed in a plane crash aged just 30, and this film was made on what would have been the violinist's 100th birthday.
