Clarinetist, Graeme Steele Johnson and the Loeffler Octet Revival Ensemble perform this newly discovered work

Today's Video of the Day is the world-premier recording of Loeffler's Forgotten Octet. Discovered in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. by clarinetist, Graeme Steele Johnson, the octet is now being performed throughout America.

When asked if he thought there were any other hidden masterpieces that were yet to be discovered, Johnson said 'I found the manuscript in the Library of Congress and they were telling me that they have something like 26 million documents in their collection, so Loeffler’s piece is just one of 26 million.'.
