Watch this beautiful performance by the Canadian choir

Today's Christmas video is from the The Elora Singers, singing a modern work, The Three Kings, by Jonathan Dove.

The text by Dorothy L Sayers, explores the three kings at different ages, the music taking us from haunting to joyous, before returning to a more reflective ending. It was written in 2000 for the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at King's College Cambridge.

Mark Vuorinen, Artistic Director of The Elora Singers, conducts this beautiful performance, which was recorded at St John's Church, Elora just this past Sunday.

You can watch more from The Elora Singers in music from Bach and Handel through to the modern day in three online concerts, available to watch until January 7: click for details.

A recording of the work also features on the ensemble's Christmas album, 'O Radiant Dawn', which you can listen to below via Apple Music.
