Footage from the recording sessions as the Doric Quartet record Haydn's Op 64 quartets

The Doric String Quartet's Haydn recordings for Chandos have been highly praised in our pages, their account of Op 20 was an Editor's Choice and was shortlisted for a Gramophone Award in 2015. And in his review of the Op 76 quartets in 2016, Richard Wigmore said that 'the Doric’s daring, imaginative and technically superb performances demand to be heard.'

With that in mind, we look forward to reviewing their new recording of Op 64, Vol 3 in the series, in the upcoming April issue, and we're also pleased to present this exclusive footage of the quartet recording the new album at Potton Hall.
