Artists Christer Lundahl & Martina Seitl are collaborating with experimental pianist Cassie Yukawa on The Memory of WT Stead at London's Steinway Hall, running from March 25 to April 6.

The installation brings together the music of Bach and Ligeti's Étude Book 3, No 16, Pour Irina, with the musings of WT Stead, an English journalist who foretold his own death on the Titanic. The work takes place in the piano showroom, workshops and rehearsal studios of Steinway & Sons and is commissioned by NOMAD and Montblanc with support from Arts Council England.

This is the second collaboration between Cassie Yukawa and Lundahl&Seitl, who in 2009 presented Symphony of a Missing Room, a guided museum tour through the history of art.
