Stan and Mabel, Jason Chapman's children’s book about a cat and dog, has been set to music by composer Paul Rissmann, and presented by Music in the Round. Ensemble 360 performed the music, and the narrator was Polly Ives.

The project follows Music in the Round’s previous family concerts, Sir Scallywag and the Golden Underpants, The Chimpanzees of Happytown, and The Lion Who Wanted to Love.

The world premiere of Stan and Mabel took place at the Stables, Milton Keynes on November 26, but there’s still chance to see it at The Octagon, Sheffield tomorrow and Monday.
