Who will win the 2014 Gramophone Recording of the Year Award?

Every year we gather a selection of Gramophone's contributors to discuss which of the Gramophone Award-winning recordings in each of the recording categories deserves the accolade of Gramophone's Recording of the Year. This year, the voting lunch took place at Les Deux Salons in Covent Garden. Robust, informed, passionate opinion and much laughter were the order of the day.

The winner of the Recording of the Year Award will be revealed at the Gramophone Awards ceremony on the evening of September 17. We will be reporting live on Twitter and Facebook during the evening itself and will be the first to reveal the winners of the Recording of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Outstanding Achievement, Label of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Young Artist of the Year awards, so make sure you are following @GramophoneMag on Twitter and Gramophone Magazine on Facebook to follow all the latest news.
