Pop-Up Opera, which presents enjoyable and inviting operatic productions in unusual places, has lauched its summer season. Its new staging combines Donizetti's Rita and Pergolesi's La Serva Padrona, so that both one-act operas take place on the same stage with interwining stories.

Directed by Darren Royston, with musical direction by James Henshaw, the production stars a young cast of singers, including Cliff Zammit-Stevens, Alexander Learmonth, Simon Wallfisch, Clementine Lovell, Penelope Manser and Melanie Lodge.

Performances take place around the UK until July 24. Visit popupopera.co.uk for details.
