Subscribers enjoy unlimited access on their TV, tablet, phone and computer. Free apps are available for Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, Roku, Android (smartphones and tablets) and Samsung Smart TV. New users can sign up for a free 7-day trial on the Met website or through the Apple and Roku apps. Subscriptions start at $14.99/month and may be cancelled at any time. Subscribers can pay in their local currency (pounds, euros, etc) when they subscribe through their iTunes (via the Apple apps) or Roku accounts in those apps.

The service includes several helpful and engaging features available across all platforms and devices. All Met Opera on Demand videos offer English subtitles, as well as subtitles in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and/or Swedish for most HD videos. Every opera in the catalogue includes a detailed track listing with aria titles and artist names. Subscribers can bookmark their favorite operas for easy access, as well as stop playback of an opera at any time and resume later right where they left off – even on a different device or app.
