Gramophone
Friday, July 29, 2016

Throughout August, Boughton House in Northamptonshire presents a special exhibtion called 'Handel at Boughton', which charts Handel's life and features a harpsichord thought to have belonged to the composer himself alongside sculptor Louis-Francois Roubiliac’s own first model for Handel’s monument in Westminster Abbey, plus a Chelsea porcelain orchestra and some very rare orchestral instruments from the period.

The gallery above, which you can open by clicking on any of the photographs, features a few highlights from the exhibition. Further information about the exhibition is available from boughtonhouse.co.uk.

All of the photographs are by Steve Dunlop.
