City Music Foundation Winners Concert

The City Music Foundation celebrated its inaugural award winners at a concert on October 17 at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama's new Milton Court in the presence of the Lord Mayor of London.

The City Music Foundation Artists for 2013 - who each receive a series of concerts, mentorship from experienced musicians and industry experts, and marketing and PR support - are Alastair Penman (saxophone), Bridie Jackson and the Arbour (folk group), Claire Iselin (harp), Cordelia Williams (piano), Mari Poll (violin), Mikhail Nemtsov (cello), Miriam Nerval (recorder), and Tir Eolas (folk group).

The City Music Foundation brings together several City of London-based institutions, including the Barbican Arts Centre, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London Symphony Orchestra, City of London Festival and Worshipful Company of Musicians.
