Continuing the theme of new works from yesterday's Fragments of Experience we have 'Love Eternal' from the Romantic Suite for Strings by composer Johanan Cinnamon. Performed here by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra the work features on an upcoming album 'Piano and Strings' where it is accompanied by a Piano Suite performed by late pianist Haim Tukachinsky. 

The string orchestra is a versatile ensemble that came into prominence in the 20th century and has been employed by a wide range of composers: Bartók's Divertimento for String Orchestra, Britten's Simple Symphony and the enduring Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Vaughn Williams to name but a few.
