Isata Kanneh-Mason's new album, 'Childhood Tales', is released today and features Debussy's Children's Corner, Dohnányi's Variations on a Nursery Tune, Mozart's Variations on ‘Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman' and Schumann's Kinderszenen. In today's video she plays 'Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum' from Debussy's Children's Corner, a beautifully filmed performance.

Both of Kanneh-Mason's previous albums, 'Summertime' and 'Romance: the piano music of Clara Schumann', were named as Editor's Choice recordings in Gramophone (as was her duet album, 'Muse', recorded with her brother Sheku). As Jeremy Nicholas noted in his review of 'Summertime': 'It’s not just that Isata Kanneh-Mason is a born musician with a virtuoso technique. It is her ability to engage your emotions from first note to last – and to think outside the box.'
