In October, Gramophone named the pianist Igor Levit our Artist of the Year 2020. He also received the Instrumental Award for his Sony Classical set of the 32 Beethoven piano sonatas. To celebrate this remarkable musician, we’ve created a special magazine in partnership with Sony Classical that explores Levit’s artistry. In it we revisit the reviews of his remarkable catalogue of recordings for Sony Classical, all of which have been warmly received, and many of which have received Editor’s Choice accolades and Gramophone Awards.
