More than 1000 Gramophone readers, new and long-standing, have been enjoying the Gramophone App since its upgrade to include our full archive last autumn. As well as the latest issue, every issue of Gramophone since our launch in April 1923 is available to read as a digital magazine on your iPad, tablet or desktop computer – just as it appeared when published (that’s more than 110,000 pages of interviews, reviews, photographs and historic advertisements). New issues feature direct links from reviews through to iTunes where you can sample the music.
The Gramophone App even featured in this weekend's The Sunday Times’s list of the world's top 500 apps (one of only five magazine apps to make the list, and one of only five related to classical music). To find out what the Sunday Times's panel of experts enjoyed, download the app from iTunes. Access for a month (featuring the latest issue and all previous issues) costs just £3.99. You can subscribe for 12 months for £39.99.
For more information, and to watch a short film about our app, visit our archive page. Gramophone print subscribers should call 08448 488 823 (UK), 1-866-918-1446 (North America) or +44 1795 592 980 (rest of the world).
