Bergen Philharmonic launches streamed 'Wintermezzo' festival

Tonight, Norway’s Bergen Philharmonic – one of the ensembles shortlisted for Gramophone’s 2020 Orchestra of the Year – launches ‘Wintermezzo’, a streamed festival of concerts featuring many of today’s brightest musical stars.

Each evening at 19.30 CET (6.30pm in the UK), the orchestra will give a concert, either live or from its archive, which will be streamed on the Bergen PO’s website.

Among the soloists are Gramophone Award winners Víkingur Ólafsson (Musician in Residence), Leif Ove Andsnes and Vilde Frang.
