The progressive concert series will collaborate with the label's artists, including Fatma Said and Abel Selaocoe
Today through the noise has announced that its 2023/24 season will be in partnership with record label Warner Classics. Warner artists will perform across the country as part of the popular 'noisenight' events, bringing classical music to alternative venues.
Warner Classics artists Fatma Said and Abel Selaocoe will return to perform sets from their latest award-winning albums, with Selaocoe embarking on his first through the noise tour.
Since its inception, through the noise has hosted dedicated album launch events, bringing international names to the UK for one-off appearances in front of new audiences. In a noisenight debut, guitarist Thibaut Garcia will introduce his next album on Warner's Erato label,
El Bohemio.
Sean Michael Gross, Director Warner Classics UK said of the new partnership: 'through the noise is doing incredible work breaking down barriers in classical music by making it exciting and accessible to young, enthusiastic music lovers. I’ve been a fan of Noisenights since attending my first more than a year ago, and we at Warner Classics are thrilled to be partnering with them to bring the amazing artistry of Fatma Said, Abel Selaocoe and Thibaut Garcia to UK audiences this autumn.'
Launched in 2020 by young creatives Jack Bazalgette and Jack Crozier, through the noise's 'noisenights' platform international classical musicians in local venues around the country using a unique crowdfunding model, which puts concert plans to local communities for support in return for tickets. Tapping into the pre-existing audiences of the UK’s gig venues, noisenights were launched to reach audiences that might otherwise not have access to high-calibre live classical performers.
