Johan Dalene features on the cover of the October issue of Gramophone – out now. In an interview with Andrew Mellor, Dalene talks about his upcoming album 'Souvenirs', which looks back to the great 20th-century virtuosos and rethinks their repertoire afresh.

In today's video Johan Dalene and Peter Friis Johansson perform the Scherzo from Tchaikovsky's Souvenir d'un lieu cher, Op 42, a work which is featured on 'Souvenirs' alongside music by Ravel, Massenet, Waxman and more.

'Souvenirs' will be released by BIS Records on October 4.
