You can now listen to excerpts from the January 2011 issue's Editor's Choices – and read the reviews – on the Gramophone Player.
This month's Editor's Choices include Antonio Pappano conducting Rossini's Stabat Mater, Vasily Petrenko conducting Shostakovich's Symphony No 10 with the RLPO, Piotr Anderszewski playing Schumann and Philippe Jaroussky singing music by Caldara. You can also watch an excerpt from our DVD of the month, Haydn's Il Mondo della Luna, conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
Also in the Player, Bach Choruses from the Monteverdi Choir and Sir John Eliot Gardiner, and, accompanying the issue's Collection feature, Radu Lupu, Mitsuko Uchida, Clifford Curzon and Wilhelm Kempff performing Schubert's Piano Sonata No 21.
