Welcome to the new Gramophone website.

Regular visitors to Gramophone online will already be familiar with our extensive coverage of the music world’s latest developments in our news section, and may already have explored our 87 years – and growing – of heritage through The Gramophone Archive, containing digitised versions of every issue of Gramophone.

Our new website builds on this, as well as on other features introduced in stages over the past months, including blogs, the weekly Specialist Classical Chart (which tracks the UK’s best-selling classical discs – also available as a downloadable poster), and the Gramophone Listening Room, where you can sample the latest releases.

To these we’ve now added interviews, features, photo galleries and the all new Gramophone Forum – which with your help we hope will become an environment rich in well-informed and vibrant discussion, and a chance for classical music lovers to share their opinions, recommendations and ideas.

This is just the start of the site’s journey of development, with many more features to be unveiled in the near future. Our aim is for Gramophone’s new website to become the most informative, enlightening and enjoyable online destination for classical music lovers throughout the world.

By registering and opting to receive regular newsletters (you can do this in the My Account section of this site) you can be kept informed of developments. You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook, both of which offer instant links to newly-posted news stories, blogs and features.
