The focus of the 'Symphony', 'Concerto' and 'Aria' playlists is on legendary recordings of the past alongside modern classics. They are comprised of Gramophone Award-winning albums, Recordings of the Month and Editor's Choices drawn from across a wide range of musical periods, from the Baroque to today.

'Reflective strings', 'Choral heaven' and 'Piano contemplation' again draw on outstanding recordings, but all of the pieces included in these three playlists explore a particular mood or emotional terrain. The juxtaposition of the pieces within these playlists often has a special fascination in itself, so it's fun and enlightening to listen and not know what is coming next.
