A collection of the great mans finewst works

Rosenblatt Recitals founder Ian Rosenblatt is launching a new summer music festival this season in Branscombe, Devon. The announcement is the latest in a string of fresh innovations for Rosenblatt Recitals, including a move to London’s Wigmore Hall, a partnership with Sky Arts to broadcast four of the season’s recitals in 2013, and a partnership with Opus Arte to release a series of Rosenblatt Recitals recordings.
The inaugural Branscombe Festival runs from July 26-28, 2013 and, like Rosenblatt Recitals, features leading musicians in intimate settings. Appearing this year are lyric soprano Ailyn Pérez and tenor Stephen Costello with pianist Iain Burnside; the Carducci Quartet in repertoire by Ravel, Haydn, Bridge and Mendelssohn; and cellist Philip Higham in a solo programme of Bach and Britten. In addition The Leo Green Experience give a late-night jazz performance and the Trelights Brass Quintet perform a free beachfront concert.
‘I am delighted and excited that we have this incredible opportunity to present the world’s leading stars from opera, classical music and jazz in the intimate and beautiful setting of the village of Branscombe,’ said Ian Rosenblatt. ‘I hope that this will be the first of many Branscombe Festivals.’
