The Cathedral Music Trust announces conference

The conference will feature notable guest speakers and will focus on diversity and inclusivity

The Cathedral Music Trust will host an academic conference in Salibury’s Sarum College from 19-20 September. Featuring talks by a wide range of notable figures in the church music community, including Sir John Rutter, Nicholas Orme and Dr Hanna Rijken, the conference will cover topics of education and participation, diversity and inclusivity, the intersection of theology and music, the chorister experience, and liturgical music in the 21st century.

Alongside the keynote speakers, there will be talks from leading academics, musicians and post-graduate researchers, including some of the Trust’s Future Leaders, offering the opportunity for attendees to engage in conversations pertaining to current issues in the cathedral music world.
