The Royal Schools of Church Music (RSCM) has launched its 2024 UK Church Musician Fees survey to inform future guidance on service fees.

The survey is able to be completed by church musicians, both voluntary and professional, in the UK and will update guidance on church musicians’ fees to be issued by the RSCM, often known as 'RSCM rates' available to RSCM members only. Those completing the survey who are not RSCM members will be given an opportunity to sign up for temporary free membership of the RSCM.

Each survey response should be for a place of worship, rather for an individual who may work across several places. The survey can be completed by anyone with a good knowledge of both the worship and of any payments made to church musicians in their place of worship.

The deadline to complete the survey is 25 November. rscm.org.uk
