Welcome to the latest edition of our Podcasts exploring the shortlisted recordings in the Gramophone Classical Music Awards, which this year are presented in association with Steinway & Sons.

Today it's the turn of the Choral category. Gramophone Online editor Martin Cullingford and reviewer Adrian Edwards discuss the three recordings which have made it to the shortlist: James MacMillan's Visitatio Sepulchri and Sun-Dogs, on BIS; Elgar's The Kingdom from Sir Mark Elder, on the Hallé label; and Delius's Appalachia and The Song of the High Hills, from Sir Andrew Davis and Chandos.
