A session report – with photos – from Abbey Road for Kenneth Fuchs's new Naxos album

In August last year the London Symphony Orchestra and JoAnn Falletta recorded a collection of orchestral works by the American composer Kenneth Fuchs. On the programme was a viola concerto, Divinum Mysterium, written for and played by the LSO's principal viola, Paul Silverthorne, as well as a Concerto grosso (a re-working of Fuchs's Fourth String Quartet) which features the four section principals. James Jolly attended these Naxos sessions and spoke to both Ken Fuchs and JoAnn Falletta.
