The brass septet performs a festive arrangement of the forest scene from Tchaikovsky's Christmas ballet
Today's video brings a festive brass arrangement of a ballet classic. Septura Brass presents The Forest from Tchaikovsky's ballet The Nutcracker in this beautiful arrangement by Matthew Knight and Simon Cox.
The Forest marks the moment that the Nutcracker prince and his army are victorious against the Mouse King. He takes her on a journey through an enchanting pine forest beneath the moonlight.
The brass ensemble, currently in residence at the Royal Academy of Music, will perform The Nutcracker in a morning concert at Wigmore Hall on the 18th December with Cathy Tyson narrating.
