The guitarist Sean Shibe won last year's inaugural Gramophone Concept Album of the Year Award for 'softLOUD' and is the cover star of the June 2020 issue of Gramophone. In a revealing interview with Editor Martin Cullingford he talks about playing Bach alongside contemporary music for electric guitar. Shibe also made an outstanding contribution to the Gramophone Charity Gala Concert (which is available to watch on YouTube until May 31) playing music from Scottish lute manuscripts.
