If you are vying for a moment of solace in the busy final week of Christmas, look no further. Here we have  a performance of contemporary British composer Bob Chilcott's The Sleeping Child by the ensembe for whom he wrote it, VOCES8.

Written in 2021, The Sleeping Child sets the words of poet Charles Bennet and has quickly become an audience and choir favourite. This work features on the album 'A Choral Christmas' (DECCA) alongside a mix of classic carols and new works by contemporary composers.
